Provider Information Section
This is the go-to area for behavioral health providers in the MBHP network,
with important information like MBHP Provider Alerts and the MBHP Provider Manual. We've bookmarked the Provider Manual so that you can
reach the information you need, like Performance Specifications and Medical Necessity Criteria, with one click.
Give it a try. The Provider Information section also provides access to our Service
Authorizations page.
Access Resources, Events, and Trainings
We've
made our Resources sections for behavioral health providers and primary care clinicians (PCCs) robust. In the spirit of healthcare
integration, we've got Resources and Events and Trainings that provide information
for both behavioral health providers and PCCs.
Find a Provider or Find a
Primary Care Clinician (PCC)
Our Find a Provider page gives you the ability to search by criteria such as "accepting new patients"
or "board certified only." We also provide you with clear and comprehensive search results. Our
Find a PCC tool
is a way for Members and families to find PCCs near them. They
can then call MassHealth at 1-800-841-2900 with the name of that PCC and ask to enroll as their patient.
Better Information for PCCs
PCCs can access comprehensive information about the behavioral health care that MBHP manages and learn more about ways to integrate behavioral health
care into their practices, as well as learn more about the PCC Plan Support Services Program
that MBHP offers. Take a look.
